Fifty Years Of "music In Twelve Parts" Featuring Philip Glass Ensemble

The Town Hall is honored to present the fiftieth anniversary of the Philip Glass Ensembles groundbreaking premiere of Music in Twelve Parts. Debuted at The Town Hall on May 25th 1974 Music in Twelve Parts is one of Philip Glass most revered compositions. Clocking in at over four hours Music in Twelve Parts is an immersive live experience of Glass earliest explorations in repetition. Join The Town Hall and the Philip Glass Ensemble in celebrating half a century of this landmark composition and the continuation of the Halls relationship with the legendary ensemble. Due to the programs length there will a one hour dinner intermission at 8pm and one 15 minute break in each half.
