South Florida Ballet Theater: Sleeping Beauty

The South Florida Ballet Theater presents a storyland fairytale ballet about an evil fairy, Carabosse, who curses Princess Aurora to die on her sixteenth birthday. Five good fairies bestow precious gifts until the most powerful of them, Lilac Fairy, changes the curse where the handsome prince may awaken her with true love's kiss. In Act Three, the wedding, the characters of Storybook Land including Little Red Riding Hood & the Big Bad Wolf, Puss 'n Boots & the White Cat, and the Enchanted Blue Birds attend the joyous occasion and dance in celebration for the Princess and the Prince.
