TEMPLE TERRACE BALLET: Oz - A Dance Fantasy

A fanciful re-imagining of the "Wizard of Oz" using a wide variety of dance forms to tell the story. Dance styles such as Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, and Acrobatics are combined with character interaction expressed through pantomime and lip syncing to create a unique and highly entertaining dance production based on the beloved characters and familiar story. Our version will take some 'artistic license' with the storyline and characters in order to provide opportunities to highlight each style of dance, and also give our youngest dancers extended performance time onstage as the various inhabitants of "Munchkin Land".
