Maurice "Mobetta" Brown

Trumpet virtuoso Maurice "Mobetta" Brown blends contemporary jazz, blues-rock, and hip-hop, merging bebop with urban influences. A Chicago native, Brown won the Miles Davis Trumpet Competition as a teen and later studied under Alvin Batiste in Louisiana.
